Tone for short, Tony if you’re feeling proper and Anthony if you don’t know me much at all!

Born in the Philippines and raised in the low country, I’ve lived in South Carolina most my life. Art, in one form or another, has intertwined itself with my life throughout the years. From consuming art in its various medias to creating my own, it’s a love that I know I’ll carry with me through every stage of life.

I attended Rollings school of the arts in Summerville for visual Arts and find myself constantly recalling the fundamentals I learned there when I paint. I’m so very thankful for that opportunity, and I wish I remembered more!

An interest in art branched into an interest with architecture, and in high school I attended The Dorchester County Career school for drafting and design. The things I learned there shaped the way I perceive the world around me, and to my surprise, the skillsets I picked up doing computer aided drafting laid a foundation that I’m still building on today with digital art..

Life comes at you fast tho,

As you grow, focuses shift, priorities change, bills need paying. The years go by and the time you spend honing particular skills can sometimes end up on the back burner or in the fridge entirely. you gotta roll with the punches though! There’s no time like the present to chase your dreams!

Four years ago, I picked up a brush again for the first time in ages to paint a Gundam model I had been working on, and just mixing the paint and the whole process reminded me how much joy I experience while painting! It’s an invaluable tool in maintaining my mental health and in combination with some good music, there’s nothing I can rely on more to center myself

For the following years to present day I Paint for the sheer fun of it, and what started out as a birthday present and some cool paintings for my friends turned into a very real potential Career path. I’m not quite busy enough with the paintings to quit my day job just yet, but that’s the Goal, and I couldn’t imagine myself happier than living off something which brings me sincere joy.
